Woman shot in Manitowoc

MANITOWOC - A shooting sent one woman to the hospital in Manitowoc.

Manitowoc police say the woman was shot around 10 p.m. Wednesday on the 1700 block of Cedar Grove Dr. She suffered a gunshot wound to her lower leg.

She's in the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police arrested a man they say shot her.  He's being held at the Manitowoc County Jail and is expected to appear in court Thursday.
