Teen killed while playing with guns

REDGRANITE - Waushara County investigators say children playing with guns led to the death of a 14-year-old boy.

Shane Zweck of rural Wautoma died Tuesday from a gun shot wound while at a home in Redgranite.

The sheriff's department now says Zweck and two other children were playing with guns found at the house when the teen was shot.

The department is not identifying who allegedly shot Zweck because he is a juvenile.

Police say the guns and ammunition were not locked up. The guns did not have trigger locks.

The Waushara County District Attorney's office is reviewing the case to determine if criminal charges will be filed.
