1 injured in Marinette stabbing

MARINETTE - A 36-year-old man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a stabbing in Marinette early Tuesday morning.

Police say they received a call about a disturbance in the 1700 block of Dunlap Avenue around 4:45 a.m.

Officers found the 36-year-old man with multiple stab wounds when they arrived at the scene. The man was flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Police say a 22-year-old Marinette man was arrested on the scene and is currently in the Marinette County Jail.

Authorities are still at the scene of the stabbing and continue to investigate the cause.
