Fatal crash in Marinette County

TOWN OF GROVER - A woman was killed and another injured after a single vehicle crash in Marinette County.

It happened Thursday around 9:12 p.m. on County Highway B near Hartwig Rd. in the Town of Grover.

Sheriff’s officials say a vehicle went off the road and into the ditch rolling over several times.

Authorities say the driver, Wanda Brissette, 42, from the Town of Pound, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger in the vehicle was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say speed, alcohol and the lack of seat belt usage are believed to be factors in this crash.
