FLORENCE COUNTY - A Florence County woman is in the hospital with hypothermia, after she was missing for several hours.
Officials say the 57-year-old woman had left a cabin in the Town of Commonwealth Tuesday afternoon to walk her dog.
When she had not returned, her husband searched for two hours before calling the sheriff's department for help.
About 30 rescue workers joined in the search.
Deputies heard screaming near a river, and the woman's husband ran ahead.
He found her in the river with severe hypothermia about nine o'clock.
It took rescue crews nearly an hour to get her to the nearest trail.
There's no word on her condition.
