Man arrested after Shawano Co. stabbing

TOWN OF BIRNAMWOOD - One man is in the hospital and another man is behind bars after a stabbing in Shawano County.
It happened Tuesday just after 5:50 a.m. on Townline Rd. in the town of Birnamwood.
When sheriff’s officials arrived they found a 35-year-old Shawano man with serious stab wounds to his neck. He was taken to a Wausau hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A 20-year-old Keshena man was arrested. He is being held in the Shawano County Jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
