Man dies following motorcycle crash

MARINETTE COUNTY - A 55-year-old Niagara man has died from his injuries following a motorcycle crash earlier this week.
It happened Tuesday evening on Morgan Park Rd. in the Town of Niagara.
Marinette County sheriff’s officials say Eddie Bendickson and his crashed motorcycle were found near a driveway off Morgan Park Rd. Neighbors and family members took him to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mich. for serious head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet.
Sheriff’s officials say Bendickson was transferred to a Green Bay hospital, where he died Thursday afternoon.
This is Marinette County’s fifth traffic fatality of the year.
