Marinette Marine receives Coast Guard contract

MARINETTE - Marinette Marine is receiving another big contract from the United States Coast Guard.

The $89 million deal is for an additional 40 response boats to be built in Green Bay and Seattle.

It's part of a multi-year contract for building and delivering up to 250 of those boats. The total contract is valued at $600 million.

Delivery of the boats is scheduled for next year.
