CEDARVILLE TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A Michigan woman is dead following a crash in Menominee County Friday evening.
It happened on M-35 near County Road 551 in Cedarville Township around 5:15 p.m.
Authorities say a 73-year-old woman driving a mini van hit a truck head on.
The truck's passenger, a 50-year-old Stephenson woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck's driver and the van's driver were taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Officials say both were in fair condition as of 9 Saturday morning.
M-35 was closed for almost four hours. About 60 semi trucks were unable to turn around to take the detour and were forced to wait for Highway 35 to reopen.
