OCONTO COUNTY - The Red Cross is helping an Oconto County family forced from their home by a fire.

It happened about 4:35 p.m. Thursday at a home on County Highway N in the town of Oconto.

The Oconto Fire Department says crews found fire coming from the front and side of the home.

No one was hurt, but a pet was lost in the fire.

The home has extensive fire, water and smoke damage. The siding on a nearby home was also melted.

Investigators are trying to figure out what caused the fire.
