Medical examiner charged in theft case

    RHINELANDER - A northern Wisconsin medical examiner has been formally charged with taking a piece of a person’s body during an autopsy.

    Oneida County Medical Examiner Traci England, who also serves Forest County, is accused of keeping a piece of a human spine in order to train a cadaver dog.

    England was charged Monday with misconduct in office and theft.
