CLINTONVILLE - After getting national attention for mysterious booms, not much has been heard recently in Clintonville.
City administrator Lisa Kuss says four seismometers from Michigan Tech were pulled out Monday.
Kuss says since it has been fairly quiet and a student from the university was passing through, it was a good time to remove them.
Residents started reporting the sounds March 18. A couple of days later, the U.S. Geological Survey confirmed a 1.5 magnitude earthquake.
