Trial date set for Richard Heyer

    MARINETTE - A May 7 trial date was scheduled Thursday for Richard Heyer, the man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend in Wausaukee.

    Heyer allegedly shot Ann Schueller in August at the gas station where she worked.

    During a status conference Thursday, a four-day trial was scheduled. Heyer's next appearance in Marinette County circuit court is March 22 for a motions hearing, according to online court records.
