Boyett sentenced in kidnapping case

SHAWANO - A Texas man who was convicted of kidnapping a 13-year-old Shawano County girl in 2011, was sentenced to five years in prison.
Xan Boyett, then 18, met the girl online, went to her house and then took a bus to Sheboygan County, where he was arrested.
Boyett was sentenced four years in prison on an abduction count, and another year on custody interference. Judge William Kussell also placed him on probation for six years at Tuesday's hearing.
