Cash prizes for best floats

OSHKOSH - Kids got a chance to show off their creativity this weekend in an event that was all about them!
Sunday marked the 78th annual Children's Day Parade in Oshkosh.
This year's theme was "Under the Sea."
Kids got a chance to make a costume, work on a float and then walk in the parade.
“Just to promote creativity with the children and it's something for them to do instead of sit inside and watch TV,” said organizer Stefanie Peterson.
Organizers say cash prizes were handed out to the best floats.
Plus, each participant had a chance to win one of 17 bikes.
