APPLETON (AP) - A congressional subcommittee plans to hold a public hearing in Appleton to focus on management of northern Wisconsin's forest resources.
Democratic Congressman Steve Kagen of Appleton says the subcommittee of the House Committee on Agriculture will hold the hearing on Monday, July 20, at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel.
Kagen is the only House member from Wisconsin on the subcommittee and requested the hearing.
California Representative Joe Baca, also a Democrat, heads the subcommittee and will preside at the hearing.
