2 'scorned lovers' back in court

CHILTON (AP) - All four eastern Wisconsin women accused of seeking revenge on a cheating lover by luring him to a motel and tying him to a bed will return to court Sept. 8 for preliminary hearings.

Therese Ziemann of Menasha and Wendy Sewell of Kaukauna were in Calumet County Circuit Court on Monday for continued initial appearances. A judge ordered them to have preliminary hearings with the estranged wife of the victim from Fond du Lac and Michelle Belliveau of Neenah next week.

The four are accused in a plot that left a 37-year-old man with his penis glued to his stomach. Court records say the man was romantically involved with three of the women and the fourth was there to support her sister.

Each is charged with being party to false imprisonment, a felony. Ziemann is also charged with fourth-degree sexual assault in the gluing incident.
