Evans found guilty of murder

MARINETTE - A Marinette County man has been found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide in the shooting death of his wife.

A jury deliberated for about two hours before convicting Joseph Evans in the death of wife Dina.

She was shot at their home last July.

Evans says the gun went off accidentally.

The couple was about to get a divorce when the shooting happened.

Evans could face life in prison when he is sentenced in December.
