ALLOUEZ - Catholic Diocese of Green Bay officials say they have no record of a Brother Raimond Rose teaching at Xavier High School in Appleton. On Monday, the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests said Rose, who has been named in a civil suit in Minnesota alleging child molestation, worked at Xavier between 1966 and 1968.

“We have checked our records and reviewed our yearbooks, and find no record of a Brother Raimond Rose,” Appleton Catholic Education System/Xavier president Tony Abts said in a news release. "We have also contacted alumni from that era and no one has a recollection of a Brother Raimond Rose."

The diocese also said the Chritsian Brothers – the religious order of which Rose is or was a member – has no record of Rose ever being assigned to Xavier.

SNAP provided FOX 11 with copies of newspaper articles from the time. The articles reference a “Brother Raimond” in connection with Xavier High School activities, but do not give a last name.
