FOND DU LAC - A man who was allegedly crazy glued by his girlfriends was in court today on charges of his own.

Police say 36-year-old Donessa Davis was the victim of a scorned lovers' revenge plot by his estranged wife and three girlfriends. Late last month, authorities claim he was lured to a motel room. The women allegedly then tied him up, blindfolded him, and super-glued his genitals to his stomach.

Davis has his own legal troubles. He's charged with abusing his daughter and harassing his wife. Despite those charges, the woman he allegedly cheated on asked the judge to let her husband out of jail.

For about 10 days now, Donessa Davis has been in the Fond du Lac County jail, but his chances of getting out, got better on Friday because his wife says she needs him out of jail.

"She said she is not fearful of Mr. Davis," Margaret Vinz, Davis' defense attorney, told the court regarding Davis' wife.

Tracy Hood-Davis, Davis' wife, asked the judge to lower her husband's bond. Davis' bond was $5,000. It was reduced to $2500. Davis' wife says there are a number of reasons to lower the bond.

"His wife says that it is necessary for him to be out of custody working and helping to support the children. She can't do it on her own," said Vinz during the court hearing Friday.

The prosecutor did not object to modifying Davis' bond.

Davis' wife answered some questions in court about a letter she sent to the judge outlining a few requests.

Davis' wife says the family needs Donessa out of jail and working, so he can work and support them.

Hood-Davis asked other conditions of bail be changed as well. She asked her daughters be allowed to have contact with their father, and says by not seeing him, they feel they are being punished for telling the truth about the alleged abuse. She also asked that she be allowed to have contact with Davis.

The judge ruled the 8-year-old daughters could have supervised contact with their father, and he could have non-violent contact with their mother.

Donessa Davis also plead not guilty to all four charges against him.

While his court case moves forward, it appears, his relationship with his family may be moving forward as well.

On Friday afternoon, Davis was still in the Fond du Lac County jail and had not posted his reduced bond.

His next court appearance has not been scheduled.
