GREEN BAY - Some area principals are rewarding their kids in an unusual way
for reading.
The principal and vice principal at Holy Family School in
Green Bay became human sundaes Wednesday.
It's because the students met the challenge of reading 25,000
minutes over a one week period.
The challenge was part of this year's Scholastic Book Fair "What
Would You do for Reading?"
The principals say it was a fun way to promote reading.
"It shows the kids that we support them and what they do and then they pulled together and screamed for us and cheering us on.... It was a great way to celebrate," said Jeff Davis, vice principal.
The principals say the worst part about becoming a sundae is trying to get the sprinkles off.
