East Town Mall to be renovated

GREEN BAY - East Town Mall owners are gearing up for renovations.

Mall owners said they planned to replace the planters and install carpet and benches around the Hobby Lobby/Budget Cinema atrium. Those renovations were expected to be finished by Aug. 15.

Meanwhile, renovations to the front entrance were expected to begin Aug. 10. This includes a new glass curtain wall, new colored concrete in the front entrance walkway, new sidewalk along the front of the building, large portable planters and decorative street light-style lighting with illuminated billboards.

Owners said the mall’s front entrance is expected to be closed until the second week of November. Customers will be able to enter between Fashion Bug and Office Max. Part of the front parking lot will also be closed, and the bus stop will be temporarily moved.
