WAUPACA COUNTY - One of the men charged with torturing and killing five deer in Waupaca County returned to court Tuesday.

Robby Kuenzi pleaded not guilty during his arraignment. Officials say the 23-year-old Kuenzi and two other men rounded up the deer while snowmobiling, then killed the animals.

Another suspect, Nicholas Hermes was scheduled to be in court Monday, but he waived his preliminary hearing. That means he will go to trial on the charges. The third suspect is Robby Kuenzi's brother Rory. Rory Kuenzi will also go to trial on the charges. His case will return to court later this month.

Robby Kuenzi returns to court April 7 for a status conference.
