KESHENA - Menominee tribal leaders are set to break ground on a $67 million expansion of their Keshena casino.
Monday’s groundbreaking represents the first phase of the project. The $23.5 million phase is expected to be finished in a just over a year, the tribe said. It includes a new convention center/meeting room complex that will house a ballroom for large gatherings of up to 800 guests. The facility will also have five break-out rooms for smaller, more intimate meetings.
Plans also call for the current hotel to be remodeled and include a new swimming pool and cabana bar.
