Oconto man killed in motorcycle crash

MARINETTE COUNTY - An Oconto man is dead after a motorcycle crash Sunday in Marinette County.

The single vehicle crash happened just after 5:00 p.m. in the Town of Stephenson.

Officials say 50-year-old Mark Coshenet was heading east on County W near Thomas Lane when his motorcycle left the road and went into the ditch. Coshenet, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was then ejected.

Medical officials say Coshenet died from chest and internal injuries while being transported to the hospital.

Officials say speed and failure to have control were factors in the crash. This is Marinette County's fourteenth traffic fatality this year.
