Fatal crash in Waupaca County

WAUPACA COUNTY - A 66-year-old woman was killed in a single car crash in Waupaca County Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 12:52 p.m. on U.S. Highway 10 near Morgan Drive, just west of Waupaca.

Investigators say the woman was traveling westbound on the four lane highway when her vehicle entered the shoulder. The vehicle then came back onto U.S. Highway 10 and entered the median and overturned. The woman was not wearing a safety belt and was ejected.

Officials say the woman died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

This is the fourth traffic fatality this year in Waupaca County.
