Woman killed in Wausaukee crash

WAUSAUKEE - A woman is dead after a motorcycle struck a van in the town of Wausaukee.

It happened at the intersection of County Highway C and V around 4:48 Monday evening.

Authorities say 31-year-old Treve King from Wausaukee, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, died at a Green Bay hospital.

The driver of the motorcycle, 22-year-old Jerimiah Rugg, was severely injured.

Authorities say Rugg attempted to pass a van and crashed into the backend of it. Speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

The occupants of the van were not hurt.
