WILD ROSE - Investigators have found two surveillance cameras missing from Wild Rose High School, and have identified one of the people suspected of causing more than $1,000 in damage to the school last week.
Investigators said a group of people got up on the roof of the school just before 4 a.m. June 14 and threw rocks at two security cameras mounted on the east wall of the performing arts building. They threw rocks at the cameras for about 20 minutes until the cameras fell. The cameras were then stolen. While the one person has been identified, sheriff’s officials are trying to identify two more suspects.
If you saw anything suspicious in the area, you’re asked to call the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department at (920) 787-3321, the Wild Rose School District at (920) 622-4203 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-800-5219. A reward is being offered.
