Vandals damage Wild Rose High School

WILD ROSE - Vandals caused more than $1,000 in damage to Wild Rose High School Sunday morning, the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department said.

In a news release, investigators said at least two people got up on the roof of the school just before 4 a.m. and threw rocks at two security cameras mounted on the east wall of the performing arts building. They threw rocks at the cameras for about 20 minutes until the cameras fell. The cameras were then stolen.

If you saw anything suspicious in the area early Sunday morning, you’re asked to call the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department at (920) 787-3321, the Wild Rose School District at (920) 622-4203 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-800-5219. A reward is being offered.
