New snow makes for slick travel

Updated: Saturday, 16 Mar 2013, 9:22 AM CDT
Published : Saturday, 16 Mar 2013, 5:00 AM CDT

Most areas of NE Wisconsin received between 2 and 4 inches of snow.  Gusty north winds produced snow drifts of 1-1.5 feet.

Untreated roads will be slick this morning, so give yourself extra time when you head out on the roads.

Snow will stop around Noon and winds will slow down to 5-10 mph.  Highs will stay in the upper 20s; the average high for today is 39°.

Sunshine will return for St. Patrick's day, but highs will stay in the 20s.

There is another shot for snow on Monday.  Cool weather continues next week.

Last year on this date, we reached a record 70° in Green Bay.
