AMBERG - One person is dead and another one had to be flown to the hospital following an overnight crash in Marinette County.

It happened on Highway 141 just north of Amberg around 10 p.m. Monday. Authorities say a semi hit a four-wheeler, and then crashed into the ditch. The driver of the ATV, whom investigators said was 35-year-old Eric Wisette from Chicago, died at the scene.

A 43-year-old man, identified as Marvin Emond of Kingsford, Mich., was driving the semi. He was trapped after the accident. It took about an hour for rescuers to get him out. He was then flown to a Green Bay hospital, where he is listed in fair condition.

Highway 141 was shut down for about 8 hours.
