Oshkosh man dies crossing Highway 41

OSHKOSH - A 40-year-old Oshkosh man is dead after getting hit by a car while trying to cross Highway 41 near Highway 21 in Oshkosh according to the Winnebago County sheriff. The man was struck by a northbound vehicle.

The man died at the hospital. Authorities believe alcohol was a factor with the man trying to cross the highway.

The name of the man has yet to be released.
