GREEN BAY, Wis - Cheer, after cheer, after cheer. Packers fans were hoping for a win from the beginning but were cautious.
“This is a big game for us so you know we're just hoping to get a big win and take it from there I guess,” said fan Tina Gibbs.
The green and gold took it all the way, winning a game many Packers AND Cowboys fans thought would have a different outcome.
“I think everyone's very surprised, I'm very surprised!” said Packers fan Joe Croteau
“(I) Really didn't see us losing this one,” said Cowboys fan Ben Baker.
Even though many fans said they were not expecting a Packers win Sunday, they are glad to have it.
“I thought going into it after last weeks game against the Bucs that, you know, we were a little bit down from that so surprised a little bit, definitely excited,” said Rachel Hess.
“We're doing great. Going forward, we've got a shot at the playoffs,” said Mike Russell.
The Packers are now five and four for the season. Fans are hoping this nearly shut out win will shoot them to the top and keep the loses behind them.
