A former area high school teacher accused of sexual misconduct with students made his first appearance in Brown County Court Thursday.
The allegations against Ryan Zellner involve four girls. Three are former West De Pere High School students and one is from Green Bay Southwest.
Zellner is also facing more than 20 similar charges in Manitowoc and Calumet Counties.
Brown County prosecutors say they don't expect any more charges to be filed here.
“Everything that we know of. There's nothing else that has been uncovered in Brown County that would be the basis for any charges,” said John Zakowski, Brown County District Attorney.
Zakowski also said he and the other prosecutors would look into consolidating the charges into one case. However, that decision is ultimately Zellner's.
A preliminary hearing on the Brown County charges in set for September.
Zellner indicated he is willing to waive that hearing.
