Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's new tell-all book "Going Rogue" hit book shelves Tuesday.
And it's creating a lot of buzz. Some applaud her honesty, while others say she may have some facts wrong.
A memoir that gives details about her 2008 campaign experience, as John McCain's running mate. In the 432 page book, Sarah Palin blames McCain advisers for mishandling her and she also blames the media for being unkind and unfair.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey she talked about her performance during the campaign when interviewed by Katie Couric.
Winfrey asked, "Did you think that was a seminal, defining moment for you, that interview?"
"I did not and - and neither did the campaign. In fact, that was why segment two and three and four and maybe five was scheduled. Campaign said, "right on, good, you're showing your independence, this is what America needs to see, and it was a good interview." And, of course, I'm thinking, if you thought that was a good interview, I don't know what a bad interview was, because I knew it wasn't a good interview," said Palin.
Despite the criticism about campaign staffers from the former Alaska governor, Senator McCain says he was proud to have Palin as his running mate. As for 2012, McCain says don't count her out.
"I think she's a very strong force in the Republican party," said McCain. "I can't predict who's gonna get the nomination but i certainly think she would be competitive."
But some critics say Palin's version of history is unflattering.
Feminist Naomi Wolf said, "She chose to play the victim card. she chose to play a feminine kind of poor me, they're all gunning for me kind of role and she's not done."
Palin says a presidential run in 2012 is not on her radar screen, at least not right now.
