MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The University of Wisconsin-Madison has launched a new online retirement class.
Judy Ettinger is an emerita senior outreach specialist at UW-Madison's Center on Education and Work. She says a lot of people are confused about how to prepare for retirement. Much of the information out there right now focuses only on money and doesn't cover the full range of issues.
The online course, entitled "Planning for Retirement: Exploring Your Career and Leisure Options," helps retirees figure how much they may still have to work, identify interests they might want to purse and how to rebalance their lives.
Participants can join the six-month course at any time.
