MILWAUKEE (AP) - Actor Ernest Borgnine will sign copies of his autobiography Saturday in Milwaukee.
He's also in town to be a clown Sunday in the Great Circus Parade - something he's done since the early 1970s.
He won an Oscar for "Marty" in 1956. He's also know for his role as the soldier who beat up Frank Sinatra in "From Here To Eternity" and the outlaw who menaced one-armed Spencer Tracy in "Bad Day at Black Rock." He also worked on the 1960s TV comedy "McHale's Navy,"
In the book, the 92-year-old talks about being the son of Italian immigrants, the early days of live TV, his famous friendships and the leading ladies he loved.
He'll be signing "Ernie: The Autobiography" at Borders Books & Music in Milwaukee.
