STEVENS POINT (AP) - Christine Thomas, the dean of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's College of Natural Resources , has been given another six-term on the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board .
The seven-member board sets the state's hunting, fishing and conservation policies.
Thomas was reappointed to a second term by Gov. Jim Doyle and recently confirmed by the state Senate. She served as the board's chairwoman for much of her first term.
Thomas, who lives in Plover, says she is honored to be reappointed and looks forward to working to continue Wisconsin "wonderful conservation legacy."
Thomas was named dean of the UWSP's College of Natural Resources in 2005 after serving as associate dean since 1999. She founded Becoming an Outdoors Woman, an organization to promote women in the outdoors.
