TOWNSHIP OF LEBANON - Two people are in custody following a standoff in Dodge County Friday night.

It happened on Warbler Way in the Township of Lebanon just before midnight.

Officials say a 29-year-old woman reported her 30-year-old boyfriend fired an AK-47 rifle at her six times at their home in Hidden Meadows Trailer Court. The woman said she was hiding behind a neighbor's snowbank at the time of the 911 call. She then returned to the residence and discovered the 30-year-old and the rifle were gone.

Officers set up a perimeter around the trailer court's entrance. The SWAT Team was dispatched there. A deputy negotiated with the man by phone, and he eventually surrendered.

Authorities searched the residence and then found the AK-47 with a live round in it behind a neighbor's storage building. They say they also found three loaded, 30 round magazines and about 25 spent casings for the rifle on Warbler Way.

During the incident, officers say they learned the woman withheld some information, which hindered the investigation.

The man was taken into custody on numerous charges, and the woman was arrested for obstructing the investigation.

Deputies were on the scene for a total of six hours.
