ANTIGO - John Lund submitted his resignation before Thursday night's school board meeting, and the members unanimously accepted it.
Lund was the principal of Pleasant View Elementary School, he also served as the high school football coach.
He had been on unpaid leave, after being charged with eight felonies, including marijuana possession and keeping a drug trafficking house.
Four other employees in the Antigo school district have also been named in the investigation, but not charged. They are currently on paid leave.
The board is expected to decide in the coming days if those four will remain on paid leave.
