Former principal, coach headed to trial

ANTIGO - A former Antigo school principal and football coach is headed to trial on drug charges.

John Lund, 47, was in court for a preliminary hearing Thursday. Lund is facing eight felonies, including marijuana possession and keeping a drug trafficking house.

Lund was the principal at West and Pleasant View elementary schools. He also served as the football coach at Antigo High School. He resigned earlier this month.

Four other employees in the Antigo school district were also named in the investigation, but they have not been charged yet.
