ANTIGO (AP) - The Antigo School Board has ended pay for the elementary school principal accused of dealing drugs.
The board met Tuesday night and decided John Lund should not be paid while he's on leave. Lund was suspended with pay Nov. 30. Langlade County prosecutors recently filed eight felony drug charges against the principal of Antigo West and Pleasant View elementary schools, who also serves as the high school football coach. The 47-year-old Lund was hired by the school district in 1995. He was paid about $73,000 this school year.
The Wausau Daily Herald says the board made no decision on four other school district employees linked to the drug investigation who are on paid administrative leave.
