Body found in trash bag

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating how a body ended up in a trash bag on the city's north side.

The body was found behind an apartment building Sunday afternoon.

Neighbors say a woman discovered the remains, which were wrapped in a sheet.

Police say the woman reported it to officials as a skeleton.

Police haven't determined if the body is of a man or a woman.
