BROOKFIELD (AP) - A Brookfield salon where three women were gunned down six weeks ago has reopened.
The Azana salon and spa opened its doors for the first time Saturday. Chamber of Commerce members arrived early to offer support and bring breakfast to the workers.
Radcliffe Haughton opened fire on his estranged wife, Zina Haughton, killing her and two other women, and wounding four others before killing himself Oct. 21.
Owner Tami Gemmell says her employees and customers are happy to be reunited. She says they can now move forward.
A permanent granite memorial outside the fully redecorated salon bears the names of the three women who were killed - Zina Haughton, Maelyn Lind and Cary Robuck.
A table at Zina Haughton's retired workstation Saturday held three yellow roses and a lighted candle.
