Governor Scott Walker and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett have been rallying voters all weekend.
However, Walker's campaign decided to take a break to observe Memorial Day.
The governor attended a number of Memorial Day events across the state.
Monday afternoon, he was in Madison at the Armed Forces Reserve Center.
There, he visited the Fallen Warriors Memorial.
Meanwhile, Tom Barrett continued his campaign on Monday.
He made an appearance in Beloit, before stopping at Brat Fest in Madison.
With about a week to go, plenty of voters still had the recall election on their minds.
Hundreds of people spent their holiday in line, waiting to cast absentee ballots.
City clerks' offices in Milwaukee and Madison were open Memorial Day weekend, to accommodate in-person absentee voters.
The recall election is set for June 5th.
