BLUE MOUNDS - The holiday spirit is alive and well, even in a dark cavernous cave in southern Wisconsin.
Click the play button on the video to hear the cave caroling going on at Cave of the Mounds.
It's located near Mount Horeb, which is west of Madison.
For the past six years they have had holiday concerts in the cave.
“The first time I heard music in here there was a group of tourists that were traveling that happened to be a singing group. And they noticed the acoustics just from the tour guide talking, myself, and did a little impromptu concert -- one in the back passage ways. And we thought, 'Wow!' Having the big voices, really resonate, it's just a wonderful,” said general manger Joe Klimczak.
The cave is not just a tourist site for the holidays; it's open for tours year-round.
