MADISON (AP) - Wisconsin environmental officials are looking for the public's thoughts on four companies that want to join the state's Green Tier program.
Eden Stone Company of Eden; Empire Screen Printing of Onalaska; Milwaukee Brewing Company in Milwaukee; and Precision Color Graphics in Franklin all want to join Green Tier. The program relaxes regulatory oversight for companies that set up environmental protection plans.
The Department of Natural Resources will take public comments on the applicants through Jan. 16. People can send their remarks to the agency coordinator listed for each applicant on the DNR's website.
