Monday marks the first day of "Summer Heat," an effort to catch drivers who are speeding and driving aggressively.

It includes officers from 120 law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin.

"Summer Heat" runs through July 18.

Along with the officers on the ground, the State Patrol will be using its airplanes to detect speeders from the air and relay the information to officers on the ground.

Agencies taking part in the program will receive federal funding to help pay for the extra officers working during "Summer Heat."
