Former Wis. man accused of murder is due back in court

MADISON (AP) - A former Wisconsin man accused of killing his autistic half-brother is due back in court this month to enter his pleas.
    
Prosecutors have accused 28-year-old Jeffrey Vogelsberg of regularly torturing and finally killing 27-year-old Matthew Graville in Mazomanie in July.
    
Police arrested Vogelsberg in Washington state in November. He had moved to the state to be with his wife, who is stationed at a military base there.
    
Authorities returned Vogelsberg to Wisconsin in December. A Dane County judge bound him over for trial last week on one count of first-degree intentional homicide and one count of hiding a corpse.
    
He's set to return to court Jan. 31 for an arraignment, the step where a defendant enters pleas. His public defender, Patrick Schilling, didn't immediately return a message.
