MILWAUKEE (AP) - A group of Milwaukee area kids can now say they hold a Guinness World Record.

Green Bay Packer Ryan Grant, former Milwaukee Brewer Craig Counsell, Mayor Tom Barrett and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Publisher Betsy Brenner read aloud with 4,586 children.

The previous record for "the most children reading together with an adult" was achieved in September 2011 in Nigeria with 4,222 children.

The record happened Tuesday at Winter Fest at the Frontier Airlines Center in downtown Milwaukee.
